During the conference you and your guests will have the opportunity to participate to a number of social events and activities:

During the conference we will visit the new Sardinia Radio Telescope, now under completion in San Basilio municipality, 30 km north of Cagliari. We will leave the Chia Laguna Resort after lunch and spend the rest of the day at the telescope site, where we will visit the antenna and the visitor centre. A selection of local specialities will be offered on site to the participants.

Social dinner with a typical sardinian menu and live music will take place in one of the several restaurants of the Hotel

For your guests the hotel organises a variety of excursions: discover the beauties of south Sardinia by jeep, quad, bike, trekking, horse riding and boat excursions. Visit the historical and natural sites of Nora, Barumini, Cagliari, the old mines and taste the wines of famous local vineyards , or just enjoy the splendid beaches of Chia! The hotel also offers golf, beach volley, tennis and soccer fields as well as windsurf, diving and sailing opportunities.
